Shop Policies

Deposit Policy :

All deposits are nonrefundable, please be sure to thoroughly read through the directions when booking your appointment and have the proper artist selected as well as date and time. Deposits are $75 for tattoo appointments 1 hr - 3 hrs and $150 for anything longer. They go towards the final cost of your tattoo and secure your space with your artist. 

 

Reschedule Policy :

You are able to reschedule your appointment one time and you need to give at least 48 hours notice. If you reschedule more than once or without proper notice it will result in a loss of deposit and you will be required to leave a new one if you wish to keep your appointment.

 

Late Policy :

If you are running late to your appointment please call the shop and let the barista know. If you are 15 minutes late or more it will result in a cancellation and loss of deposit. We are located in LA it is highly recommended you leave with the expectation of hitting traffic. We do not have designated parking and metered parking can be hard to find in the area, please plan accordingly.

 

Minors in the Shop :

It is against California law to tattoo anyone under the age of 18, even with the signature of a guardian. Minors are allowed only in our cafe and outdoor seating area, however they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. You cannot leave your child alone in the cafe if you are being tattooed and they are not permitted in the tattoo area, even with an adult.

Hand / Neck / Feet / Face Tattoos :

Not every artist in our shop will tattoo these placements and no apprentice is allowed to tattoo these placements. Please call or submit a tattoo request form to be set up with the proper artist. We do not offer free touchups with these placements because we can't guarantee they will last. 

FAQs

What’s your shop minimum?

Our shop has a base minimum of $150. Minimum means that is the minimum you will be charged for any tattoo done here, regardless of size. Some artists have higher minimums based on their level of experience. 

How do I get an estimate?

You can set up a Message Consultation with any of our artists through our “Book Now!” Link. There will be a simple form to fill out. The time will show something around 10pm-11pm. This is just a place holder on the artists' calendar to remind them to message you. This time is NOT the actual time of the message consultation. We usually respond within 48 hours. 

Pricing:

The final cost of tattoos is always determined the day of the appointment and is based on the final size, design, and placement of the tattoo. Here are some average price ranges to help give you an idea of what your tattoo may cost (however it is subject to change and varies on the artist):

*Price for pieces that take an hour or less:  Range from $150-$300

*Price for pieces that take two hours or longer: Generally follow a $200/hr rate

*Multiple tattoos in one session are generally priced individually

 

Consultations / Tattoo Requests :

All consultations are done online through email or text. When you submit your tattoo request form a response is not guaranteed and response time may vary depending on the selected artist. Cover-up tattoos, difficult placements, and larger or more intricate tattoos require a request form before booking. If you are looking to get something simple like a word, flash piece, or small design, you are okay to book an appointment without having done a consultation.

 

Accepted Payments :

Each artist accepts their own form of payment and generally accepts cards, zelle, venmo, and cash payments. For card payments there is a 2.5% fee. Please be sure to double check if your particular artist accepts your form of payment if you’re unsure. To do this you may call the shop.
 

Walk-ins :

We do accept walk-ins, however, the space is limited. We post on our instagram whenever space is available and you can always call the shop to see if there are any artists available. 

Group Appointment Booking :

If you are trying to get matching tattoos or have a group of 2 or more looking to be tattooed, book separate appointments back-to-back with the same artist or same time with different artists. This way we have each person's information in our system and you will each have your own deposit. 

 

Bringing Friends :

We prefer to limit how many people are in the tattooing space and at each tattooing station because of sanitation and space limitations. Because of this, we ask that any friends and family who aren’t being tattooed stay in the cafe area and those who are waiting their turn to be tattooed wait in the tattoo waiting area. We also have an outdoor seating area where all are welcome to enjoy our cafe offerings as they wait.

Piercings :

We don’t do piercings here! Just tattoos and coffee <3

Is the deposit refundable?

No, our deposit is not refundable but can be applied to a reschedule with no less than 48 hours notice. If the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment, the deposit will be forfeited and another will be required to rebook.​​

Where to park?

We do not have a parking lot but there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding area. Liberty street is located behind us which has 8 hour meters on one side and 2 hour free street parking on the other. The spaces out front are for cafe customers only.
